Wait a second, I was just thinking; how come Volcanion is a Gen 6 Pokemon and Magearna is a Gen 7 Pokemon when they look like they should be the other way around? Magearna looks so much more French and suited to the Kalos region than Volcanion, who looks like it'd fit in really well with Alola since that it's a volcanic pokemon. How is the mechanical fairy one Alolan whereas the fire and water (volcano and ocean) one is Kalosian? They must have been swapped at some point in development.
