I'll be waiting. If it isn't a clear step up from Gen 7 I may drop new Pokémon games for good. It feels like the games are on some kind of slow inescapable death spiral. They keep talking up about how the 2019 titles are there for the more hardcore fans, if there's any hint of the games being dumbed down even further then I'm out.

Because we don't know anything about the games, yes. As long as abilities and items and following Pokemon are in it I'll buy it

Im thinking first bit of news should be May at the earliest.
Possibility of it being way earlier is if they genuinely treat LGPE as "filler"
