I've been casually browsing /vp/ for the last three days, and only just NOW found out about Melmetal. I assumed people were posting fan art. This thing doesn't look real.

it's a literal placeholder, gf just decided to roll with it and gave us an evolution for it, that's why it looks "wrong"

The reason it looks off is because the liquid metal parts have a different texture type from literally every other Pokémon.

Liquid metal body that stretches is very creative but that nut head, nut shoulders, nut arms, nut feet and more is just atrocious. What other pokemon recycles the same design element that much? Only an absolute shit-tier like Klinklang.

Doesnt look that much different than ANY Steel and/or Electric type based on inatimate objects. Aron, Beldum, Magnemite, Ferroseed, Klink, Honedge lines, Xurkitree, they all share the “its just a bundle of stuff/they added more stuff”
