I'd imagine this stat would work like so:
>Pokemon with high INT would have odds increased of hitting weak-spots during attacks or doing status moves more efficiently (half as strong as a crit or raising/lowering stats .5 more)
>Pokemon with low INT would be unlikely to do the former things I mentioned, but can have a chance to be able to take a hit .5 less than normal depending on how low it is (not applying to crits or weak-spot hits)

I kinda thought about separating Power from Attack. Power would be how you use physical moves that don't make contact, and Attack is for those that do. That would be needlessly specific though, and I'm pretty sure Pokémon that are high in one of those stats would tend to be high in both.

Accuracy shouldn't be a stat because that has the potential to make certain moves OP or broken. It can also fuck over a Pokémon if the base accuracy stat for said Pokémon is low (if moves no longer have accuracy stats and No Guard no longer exists, that is).

Reduction: stat / level

So if a level 100 Pokemon has 405 luk (which means a high 135 base stat and fully invested EVs)

405 / 100 x 2 = extra 8% of inflicting a secondary effect

Level 40 Pokemon with 81 luk:

81 / 40 x 2 = extra 4% chance of inflicting a secondary effect, extra 2% shield against secondary effect

It should only be a stat that increases in power via level or moves, and isn't designed to fluctuate dramatically in both the positives and the negatives and stay that way, like happiness/accuracy/friendship/etc.

In that regard, I think "precision" would be a good recommendation. It refers to the consistency of getting a similar result, like the number of times a double slap takes, or the length of time confusion lasts. If the pokemon-amie and grooming mechanics were to be removed, then this stat would take it's place, with higher values making the odds of a pokemon surviving a fatal hit more consistent. In place of precision, you could possibly substitute it for something like "balance" or "focus"

I've played games where evasion/accuracy is an actual stat and it is not fun. Games with mana sometimes are, though, and I think that's the non-poke equivalent of PP

It also goes down as Pokemon evolve. Uber tier Pokemon would have the worst Luck, while Baby Pokemon would have some of the highest.

Going by DnD terms, only Wizards use int. Sorcerers, Warlocks, Bards, Paladins, half-angels, half-demons and Dragonborn all cast spells using Charisma, and Clerics/Druids/Monks all cast their versions of spells with wisdom.

Resistance. Reduces ailment duration and potency. Paralyze burn and poison are now set durations.

Burn is no longer based on % and is based potency but is stronger than the burn we have now except able to be resisted depending on the kind of burn via defense and special defense however resistance must also be included to have the multiplier on how much %of damage you mitigate via the burn ailment.

Poison remains % based and resistance only reduces the amount of ticks.

This isnt a chance thing like luck but a set percentage of resistance that is stable.

TRAIT: Points in this are used to beef up the stat with the highest EVs. We know some Pokemon have insane Pokedex entries but they never really reflect on their stats. So for a mon that claims to be able to slaughter Indian Elephants with ease, having a high TRAIT will further increase their ATK stat beyond its current limits, unless of course its EVs are invested in something else in which case it goes towards that. If EVs are even, distribute evenly.

Stamina - Pokemon now get weaker the longer they stay in battle, weakening their attacks, lowering their evasion, and even making attacks sometimes fail when it gets low enough. Using strong moves like Fire Blast drains Stamina faster. High Stamina Pokemon take longer to feel the effects. A Pokemon's stamina will restore over time when they're not active.

Team PP is stupid, a PP bar for each mon makes much more sense. PP should recharge by a rate defined by a stat (stamina). I think moves like Protect should also be reworked like when they block a move, the damage will be instead dealt to the PP bar.

Team PP could be good depending on how it's calculated. If it's the sum of the Team's individual hidden PP values then it's pointless and you might as well give an MP bar to each individual pokemon. If every player Team PP total is set to 100 when they beat the champion then it could be interesting because then the game becomes a test of who can manage their resources better.

Plus it opens up new strategies, like Pressure stalling, which is fine because most Pressure pokemon are shitmons or banned outright. Dusknoir and Articuno could use the buffs and you're rarely going to have to fight a Mewtwo in a PvP battle so that's fine. Also it nerfs Regular Stall to death

Damage over time effects are no longer percentage based but have a Base Power value affected by the Spite/Malice stat the way normal attacks are affected by Atk and Sp.Atk.

Okay, anon, if that's all you need, that's on you, but some people are going to actually want an explanation for why or how these Pokémon are pooling their energy together. That's not just a mechanic at that point, it's an aspect of the Pokémon themselves, and not explaining it is neglecting world-building. They gave explanations for Totem Pokémon and Z-Moves, so this would be something that I would want an explanation for as well, even if it's just one sentence.

Resistance

Reduces damage from fixed% damage sources, and reduces the chance of secondary effects from opponent's moves.

Helps reduce the power of moves like Stealth Rock and Scald, and really gives some Pokemon a second chance by giving them really high resist stats, without making them gamebreaking since it doesn't drastically change the game otherwise.

Imagine giving something like Moltres or Articuno a very high resist stat, maybe enough to reduce SR damage to around the normal 12.5. They'd also get the bonus of taking significantly reduced damage from stuff like Toxic and Leech Seed too. Suddenly these mons are significantly more viable, and now have to be countered like any other non-4x SR weak mon.

I was thinking along the ideas of a Viscosity stat. Basically, it would accompany the Speed stat.The Pokemon's Viscosity would be subtracted from the Speed stat for the purpose of who goes first, so more viscous Pokemon are slower. Whenever a Pokemon gets hit by a Water move, their Viscosity would decrease, making them faster and giving Water a much needed nerf. Also, entry hazard damage would now be mitigated by a higher Viscosity. Some moves would be changed to support this, like Acid Armor would now also lower Viscosity by one stage, for example.
