Go look at either Luxray or Pyroar's movesets and realise that a quadruped Fire starter would get an equally shitty moveset. GF take the design into consideration when making a moveset and keeping it on 4 legs nerfs its potential movepool, as they would feel a lot was unfeasible for a quadruped to pull off.

I like Rowlet but you are right.

Something about all the designs (especially final evos) seems off. They fucking suck, prob on par or worse than Gen V evos.

I dont mind humanoid pokemon, we've always had those (mr.mime, jynx, hitmonchan), but for future starters I wish they would go back to, well, pocket monsters. Probably just nostalgia talking, though.

The whole generation was awful. There is literally nothing good that came in gen VII, outside of the improved in-fight graphics. I tried many times, but i couldn't make it past the autistic fat kid, before i wanted to kill myself playing the game.
If you are new to pokemon, it is probably a very good game, but other than that, its awful.
