I've farmed this shit all day and I'm bored out of my mind
I swear I've defeated every trainer, including Gym Leaders and E4 but I'm not getting Grand Duke

If you haven't ranked up then it's mostly likely that you've missed someone as everyone seems to say it's for beating everyone.

I can't verify that's the case as I just eventually got it without trying but I see no reason to doubt it. I certainly used it enough to have battled everyone.

Only thing I could suggest is to make a list from one of the sites and starting making sure of who you've battled, checking them off, with the Silver Writ to make trainers appear every minute rather than every 6.

Maybe as well as having to fight every trainer, you need to fight a decent amount of them too?
Like, say you're Duke and you have every trainer beat, you unlock the next set, which is 8 more trainers. They all spawn immediately and you beat them.
The gap between Duke and Grand Duke would be really short, so it makes me wonder if on top of having to beat everyone, you also need to beat a decent amount of them too.

The one time I hit Archduke it took about a week and a half (starting from Earl I think) of clearing out the trainers 2-3 times a day. Was a long grind, especially because you face lesser trainers which prolly don’t give as many points to level up as a high rank trainer.

Just beat the only possible trainer I thought I missed, still don't have it, so just going to beat them all over and over again blindly until I get it
