It has the colors of the Philippine flag and the crest looks alot like the one on said eagle.

None of the gym leaders except for clay were based on anything american for example.
I know burgh is a kabuki theatre artist.

The architecture of kalos is mostly french, the locations are mostly based on france the story has themes that fit france.
