Gyro Ball and Heavy Slam were fucking mistakes.
Defensive steel types FUCKING SHOULDN'T BE ALLOWED TO JUST SUDDENLY WHIP OUT A FUCKING 120-150 BASE POWER STAB MOVE.

Why would GF give a defensive type such incredibly high bp moves? They don't even have drawbacks like shaky accuracy.

That doesn't account for much when a move that gets stronger from being slow is pretty much the definition of anti-meta. Nearly every pokemon runs a lot of speed EVs unless they're also defensive.

Both? For Steel types with Heavy Slam, Forretress, Bastiodon and Bronzong all have low Attack; Aggron and Steelix have low Special Defense. All of them are slow. Celesteela is the only exception.

And the moves are lower power in general too.
Iron Tail only 100 BP and is 75% accurate, and below that the only broadly distributed STABs are Flash Cannon and Iron Head, both 80 BP.

Iron tail is such a useless move. Any steel type that learns it will hit harder with gyro ball. Like Steelix.

And steel coverage is not good enough to warrant only 75% accuracy
