It has a single flavour that the ingredients added to it change it a bit, however the overall taste isn't virtually the same.

I play Yokai Watch and even I know that the game didn't invent yokais. Plus, not all of the yokais in the game are even based on actual yokais. Some of the critters there look like they came from other cultures. Like Dazzabel, Rattelle and Skelebella. They are inspired more by the Mexican sugar skulls.

Kind of, but not really. The example in op's image look like they were ripped straight from classical Japanesw art, which clashes horribly with the Pokemon aesthetic.
While I think there is a way to make a compelling, say, tsukumogami Pokemon, I don't think op's image is it.
