Doesn't surprise me. XY was a system seller for the 3DS, Let's Go is not one for the Switch (but it's cleverly being released around the same time as Smash, which is one)

Pokemon's benefited quite a bit from being on a cheaper system, cheaper price and lack of competition. Being on a console which has more options, and more expensive is going to hurt it. This ontop of how shitty it looks.

Considering how low LGPE's budget probably is, yes

It's just a filler title to buy time until Gen 8, they budgeted it proportionately to how well they expect it to sell

Doesn't look like that to me, you also have more people working on it compared to previous games too. As for Gen 8, Not really, Every game save for X&Y because it was rushed had a follow up title, at best you'd have to wait for 2020 to 2022 for your money's worth.

"Tracking weak" compared to what? Handheld games? Because it's not "tracking weak" in comparison to previous Pokémon home console games.

I mean, shocker, the Switch doesn't have the installed base the DS had.

At the end of the day, Let's Go will be Pokémon's most successful console game, and most successful non-mainline game too if you want to count it as that.

I'm confident it won't sell more than USUM. The Switch just doesn't have the install base and I doubt many people will be buying one along with the game when Smash is a bigger draw for console attachment. I'm predicting around 5-6 million. And that's being generous.
