I always name my pikachus chugoo, i always name my vileplumes snickerdoodles or just snickers in cart because character limit, and i always name my Dragonites trap queen or tiny

I make a lot of competitive teams on showdown and i like nickname consistency so ill always just call Dnite and plume the same thing across 20 teams.

I mean, sometimes you just don't have that Pokemon anymore. Cartridges get lost, Pokemon get accidentally erased, sometimes you do hard purges. I only have Mini, Echidnut and Mudley, but I have battle-ready versions named after all of these, some with "Jr." afterwards (or in the case of Cinccino, Mini Mini). Otherwise I generally don't reuse names.
