I remember months ago, someone on this board "leaked" that Lavender Town and the Pokemon Tower would be completely redone for LGPE, turning the Tower into a nightclub or something because the original was "too scary" for the LGPE audience. A number of you took it as absolute fact and went on your "OH NO NO NO AHAHA LGPE BTFO" shit.

And yet here we are with a trailer showing that not to be the case at all.

"But it was OBVIOUSLY not a real leak, it was meant to make a point!" Well your point fucking fails if you have to lie to make it.

Do you guys REALLY think LGPE will be the worst Pokemon game ever, or are you just terrified of it opening the floodgates to a whole bunch of new players so Pokemon stops being an exclusive club for the Bara Cat Bastards?

Literally all that FRLG added were those worthless islands. And it's not available to play anymore unless you're willing to shell out hundreds of dollars on eBay or use an emulator (which not everyone can do or are uncomfortable with). If you're not going to campaign Nintendo to put FRLG on the VC or campaign to tell everyone to protest LGPE and emulate FRLG, then shut the fuck up.

literally everything related to this game. the cliche isekai plot, the setting (kanto has been milked enough already), the ps2 graphics, the animations, the removed features, the hyper-casualized difficulty, the starter pokemon with the stats of a legendary, the absolute joke of a postgame, etc., etc.

Mythical Pokemon have always been gated off by stupid bullshit. Whether it's from a peripheral, a long drive to a store, an internet connection, whatever. It's easy for those living comfortably in the middle class to get the mythicals without really thinking about it until presented with the Pokeball Plus. For people who live in remote areas far from GameStop and no internet connection, it might as well be the same thing. And if you want me to actually criticize LGPE about something, gating off Meltan and Melmetal behind a Pokemon GO connection essentially punishes people who don't have cell phones.

gamecube graphics were unironically better than what they've shown so far, the switch is capable of far more than what gay freak has put into LGPE

just because game freak has always been greedy doesn't mean it's okay for them to be even greedier now.

and yet ivs and natures are still there. game freak can't even be consistent about what to streamline.

they literally force you to meet the gym requirements to make it easier, let you 2v1 the whole game, and give you a starter with legendary stats. it would be embarrassing if any player doesn't casually kick everyone's ass in this game.

again, bullshit. pokemon's postgames used to be at least mediocre by jrpg standards. now we're getting 151 mirror matches. lgpe's postgame is actually a step back from frlg because there's no sevii islands.

3 anecdotes on the stand:
- While I was waiting for my turn, I heard a person who was testing the game asking what were the reasons for preferring Let's Go to FRLG. The presenter next to him admitted that for the veterans of the series, the game no had no interest.
- When I was testing the game, the guy on the staff supposed to explain the mechanics was so jaded that he preferred to watch SSBU games broadcast on a giant screen.
- Still while I was lining up, a 3-4 year old kid tested the game, and he was not able to throw a single PokéBall. thank you for simplifying the gameplay GAME FREAK ...
