it was the perfect progression of Ash from prior seasons. To me, his adventures ended there. Cant count anything past that.

Both DP and XY had the best closing scenes in their last episodes, with neither hinting at where Ash was going next; each could've been the series finale. XY gets bonus points for the extended credits.
