M20 is unironically the best Pokemon movie there is. I've seen it about 5 times, once in Japanese. I'm waiting for my son to get a little older before I watch it with him because I want it to really resonate.

haha I forgot I watched this fucking mess. My favorite pokemon movies are the ones with cool battles like Mew vs Mewtwo, Rayquaza vs Deoxys, Everybody vs Genesect, Everybody vs Everybody etc... The battles in M20 were total trash and I like Marshadow. The plot is trash like all pokemon movies but the good part of pokemon movies which are the battles were also terrible.

They should just make plotless pokemon movies with high quality pokemon battles.

Marshadow didn't add anything to the story, the pikachu scene caused laughter in the theater, and the whole climax was really boring compared to the earlier fights
