Although if that's their thing his answer actually harms them. I still think he should've recognized the art style was right but if he truly hadn't looked into them at all maybe he just hadn't paid them much mind.
Which, though I've personally been harsh on him for outright calling fake when they obviously weren't, I can kind of forgive if true.
Still shouldn't have outright said they're fake at least without making sure he pointed out he was completely ignorant about them AT THAT TIME but I can accept that as a fair enough reason.
