Y'all are really dumb for thinking this is the same as Synchronize

To begin with you have to actually FIND and capture a Pokemon with synchronize and the nature you want FOR EACH COMPETITIVE NATURE

This is a 1000x more convenient
It's a QOL improvenent

Are you for real? You don't even need to buy the game to play on smogon simultors, so that's completely unrelated. This game has no abilty, no items and the depth of a puddle, which is the reason VGC 2019 won't be on LGPE.

The appeal for this game is all over the place, on one hand masuda claims it's an experience for every kind of pokemon fan but on the other it looks incredibly watered down, childish and casual.

Also, nature chance features in a game with NO competitive play whatsoever, really what the fuck were they thinking.

It kind of does. Natures were the only thing in the game that could outright make a Pokemon weaker than their competitive counterpart (discounting trick room/gyro ball users and people who min-max for slightly less confusion damage). Now that you have full control over which nature a Pokemon spawns with, there's really nothing stopping you.

they should be trying to remove the incentives to replace the pokemon you catch during the game with eugenics projects, not just try to make eugenics easy

I think they refer to how you have to pay 10K each time in game.
Doesn't really matter since money in pokémon games have never been a problem, but I guess it is still worse than having your own Synchronizer.

Well given they handed out 6 ditto with the most commonly used natures and IV's in each of the stats for easier breeding for comp in USM, I'd say there's a greater than zero chance of something akin to this appearing in Gen VIII.
