>>36896481>GreatDragontenic: Literally everyone and their dog questions how dragonair became Dragonite. Serpentine evolution idea is really common, but not bad. Gen 1 is simpler after all.
Goolusca: Goomy's whole thing is that it's a snail that becomes a dragon. Goodra looks like a snailish dragon, Goolusca looks like a dragonish snail. Solid
>OkayMonitar: It's just Tyranitar mid-evolution. Makes sense visually, even if I miss the horn.
Sevierge: As someone who lives Hydreigon, I'd totally use this guy over it. Naming makes sense with the idea of a hydra growing two heads for every one lost, but it's also kinda easy to mistake the "1st" set holding the second set as just more dark scales.
>Not so okayTrogon: It shares colors with Bagon I guess, but nothing about it makes it look like it came from it or Shelgon. Where did the red on shelgon go? Why does Trogon have weird gorilla arms? Males me thing of bizarro Jangmo-o.
Metanism: Same issue as Trogon. Looks different from metagross, but not necessarily like it's prevolutions. Unlike Trogon who at least shared a general body shape with bagon, all I see is the world's most complicated pizzacutter and a rotated Magnezone. Well that and an ugly Megagross
>What?Garifice: Metroid reject. Sure, Gible had a belly mouth, but Gible was also a literal ball with nubs and a fin. If there entire theme is "land shark", how does the guzzlord belly maw fit in? Why not base it on any of the dozrns of big-mouthed sharks, like how garchomp is a hammer head?
Lawalmo-o: You removed most of Jangmo-o (really, the entire line's) defining characteristic; it's rounded noise-making scales. Then you gave it generic wings, removing the disciplined warrior theme. You now have a gaudy wyvern.
