How can Pelipper even function? Its wings are just long penguin flippers with no flight feathers whatsoever, so it wouldn't be able to fly, and even if somehow it managed to lift itself from the ground a little, it still wouldn't be able to soar, since it got no tail to keep it balanced. It got no legs and its feet are sticking directly out of its body, so it wouldn't be able to walk or even swim like a bird. Its beak pouch (which looks solid and not floppy like a real pelican's) extends all the way down its neckless body, so it leaves very little room for functioning internal organs. Assuming the shark fin shape on its head is just a feather crest, the head to body ratio is almost as small as a stegosaur's, meaning pelipper would be pretty dumb, even though pelicans and most sea birds in real life are pretty smart. The eyes are just plain black ovals teared in half, meaning Pelipper is blind. How could this organism even stay alive and thrive in any kind of environment, let alone the sea?
