Gen 2 didn't kill the fad, it just faded out. As fads do, you fucking moron. They were worried about it not selling outside the fad, that's all. Why? Because many fads don't.
It's like saying a certain set of Cabbage Patch Dolls killed the fad or a certain Minecraft update killed the fad. Neither is true, they just ran their course.
