Is there anything good about LPGE? I'm hoping there are a few good changes that carry onto the 2019 games:
>the pokemon walking behind you and the option to ride them

No, I am absolutely fucking done with random encounters. I welcome LGPE to remove such a shitty time wasting mechanic that serves no other purpose than to artificially expand gameplay. It isn't that rewarding when you spend hours having to run from so many encounters while looking for a 5% or 2% spawn rate, much less trying to find certain abilities/genders/natures for breeding and shinyhunting. Instead you would watch for the pokemon you want to spawn and go after it, and that would be the end of the story.

Also that Pikachu in the art looks awful, what the fuck. Why is its leg have a huge tumor? Why does it have fat toddler hands? It's too uncanny.

No wild encounters is not only the equivalent of Sonic not going fast but it also ruins the concept that the world of pokemon is dangerous. Hell in gen 1, the professor stops you from going in the tall grass because the pokemon might attack you and now they just get rid of it because "It's annoying" when repels exist? The fact that you can now see the pokemon gets rid of one of the most annoying parts of wilds encounters anyway

masuda literally isn´t the fucking director since oras.

Trainer Class designs are mostly okay to me.

Most of them are faithful to the Gen I ones, which is something you'd expect from a remake.
