How about a thread where we come up with new moves/abilities/items and other such things?
Anyway here's something I've been thinking of

effect: if an attack crits, the next attack will also crit assuming it lands. if an attack deals super effective damage, the next attack will deal super effective damage even if it is not super effective against the opposing pokemon.

give it to rhyperior and alolan golem (because they shoot rocks when attacking)

Log Out (It's a better name than Baddy Bad so fuck you) (Grass) Komala Exclusive.
Komala use it's log to prepare a counter attack. If he is hit by a move who make contact he counter and deal 25% to the opponent and switch.

Yes it's gimmick and pretty fucked but if Heatmor and Ariados can get an exclusive move Komala can get one

Depending on what gets it, it could be utterly broken or just alright. I think it can be good as the signature move of a mon like spinda or maybe even malamar, but anything stronger may be too much.

Anyways have an item:

I made it to turn my favorite clefable set into a guaranteed victory if it manages to get going. I think the over-abundance of knock off and crits being so situational (most people would preffer to use items that have a more applicable effect) prevent it from being utterly broken.

Crits are situational, right up until someone starts spamming defensive buff moves. I feel like crits ignoring defensive buffs is reason enough for them to exist, and for this item not to exist.

I'm not good at this, but I always thought a move like Sucker Punch but for Psychic types would be cool. It'd be named something like "Mind Reading", where your mon "reads" that the opponent is about to move and thus quickly attacks first.

Sound based moves Can cause flinching, even if they are status moves, They are also super effective on Ice type Pokemon (a reference to sound breaking glass)

I hope at least one of these are interesting
Feverish: increases the power of fire type attacks while poisoned.
Sneaky: increases evasiveness when using a non-damaging attack.
Smacktalker: taunts opponents upon switching in.
Callous: is immune to spikes and toxic spikes and removes a layer of them on switch-in.

As for the concept, are you suggesting reducing stat reductions (like Screech goes from -2 to -1 defense) or making them reduce even more (-2 to -3)? Probably the former, but it's a bit ambiguous.

It could probably work without gimping the Pokemon with some huge weakness, but only if the taunt lasts until the end of the turn. A +6 priority taunt would be bonkers otherwise.

Dark Poison

All poison type moves work just like dark type moves, however, In addition to being Super effective on ghost and psychic, they are also super effective on grass and fairy types. If this pokemon uses Toxic, it will poison steel and poison types, Dark types will be uneffected. This Pokemon is also is immune to poison types moves and status.

I saw pic related and thought it looked cool as a dark type, And I imagined it evolving with the poison stone from the 1997 GS demo (it turns the poison stone's poison into darkness). That's how I came up with this ability
