I have more than enough money to buy a switch and one of these games, but I just can't bring myself to do it. I know that if I buy it all I'm doing is enabling them to make the next game just a little worse like they've been doing since XY (arguably BW).
Unlike most I'm willing to be proven wrong. If the game releases and we find out that the VS Seeker was in the game, the story is good and has a nice postgame aside from Master Trainers, there's a decent challenge and even good replayability throughout the region so that you can try using other Pokemon without having to reset the game. If that happens, I'll admit to being wrong like most of this board would, and I'll buy a copy and a switch, but that's not happening until after release. At this point I'm not buying a Pokemon game until I see solid proof that it's worth it because I've been baited for the last four games and it won't happen again.
I see it this way, a new generation is coming next year and we have three, maybe four months tops until we get official information on it so there's no need to rush, we're in a gap year as far as I'm concerned.
