Play Pokémon Bronze
Its pretty good for a GBC hack if you enjoy gen 2. There’s no cringey fakemon in it either.

Does Vega Minus fix the awful Pokemon distribution?
I stopped playing when I realized that the only way get a water type to Surf with was to backtrack and trade a Baizebeast for one.

Does it? I downloaded what was supposedly the most recent release from the Discord and there's no following Pokemon in it, unless you have to do something ingame to enable it.

You'll have to join the guy's Discord and follow the instructions on there. You'll also need to patch the ROM. When Pikasprey released his video on it the game's popularity skyrocketed and the creator got all lawyer-conscious, taking it down from literally everywhere and trying to make it impossible for anyone to get if they didn't already have it.

If you dont care about spanish text, then yeah.
The trainers gain levels as you get badges, and the enemy team admin can be almost impossible to beat if you fight him with 3 badges.
