Given this shit is running in Gen VI/VII's engine adapted for Switch, I'd be very fucking surprised. GF are bad, they're not so retarded to put in the new pokémon into an engine which won't be required to display them at any stage (next iteration of LGEP will either re-use the 3DS engine again or be let use the new VIII engine).

I made a typo, I mean maybe gen 2-7 shit will still be in the files and we'll get a peak at how they'll look in gen 8. Smash uses the 3DS models for Pokeball summons/stage hazards but that's only a handful.

Well, this is how Primarina's current full model looks like so I'm betting the rest of the models will look more similar to this style than to anything LGEP could display, as again it's built in the 3DS engine and it wasn't able to display models of this quality in-game.
