>>36921343That's not what canon is. The name "Blue" of the boy isn't part of this world, because actually "Green" makes some connections, like every name in Pokemon. English names just try to mimic these connections, but fail sometimes.
If you want to know some, I could share these:
- occasionally he is portayed in green clothes (I know it doesn't have to mean anything, but come on, it's Pokemon)
- in HG/SS carpet in his house is green
- he becomes a gym leader in "The City of Evergreen" - Tokiwa, meaning shade of evergreen trees and his badge is green and named Green Badge
