>>36929062I wouldn't call Litten's thing reaching. The symbol itself is very fitting for a Fire/Dark type, and the number and sizes of the stripes match it. From what I've seen, the horizontal stripes in king stripe usually don't get longer as they get closer to the face, they either get shorter in that direction or they're uniform. I guess it could be coincidental, but the connection is clear regardless.
I don't remember what the theories were for the other two though. I seem to remember those stretching a bit.
