He should have made a game for the fans instead of something he can jerk off to personally. The games weren’t well received, obviously because people do not want pseudo kanto with ugly shitmons that take forever to evolve, two brendan tier rivals, and the most linear region in Pokémon.

News flash, a lot of genwunners don't like Gen 2 that much and only appreciated it for letting you go back to KANTOOOOOOOOOOOOO in the postgame and see how it changed in the 2 year timeskip, although they didn't like how a lot of areas didn't exist altogether or were scrapped because of space issues.
A lot of them were already saying "Nintendo" was "running out of ideas" and that they were "all designed to be easy to make toys out of", much like how they reacted towards all the other Post-Gameboy Games.

Just because he pours all his "soul" and "passion" to BW doesn't mean the game is good. If this was supposed to be his "masterpiece" then he should give up directing games from that point because his definition of "good" doesn't line up with the rest of the fanbase.
