I feel like that shit just came out. Remember the period where there was no hacking/ability to transfer from older gens? We’d have the GTS general where anons called out shiny pokemon. I’d hunt Shinies like a mother fucker because they were actually worth something. I spent like 350+ hours into X even though it’s not a very good game.

at first i hated X/Y because of the 3d models but it grew on me when i realized wondertrade and all of the new online capabilities made it the first pokemon game with lots of random interaction with people all over the world. Plus i bought AS and after seeing no battle frontier and how bored i was of the actual game/story i stopped buying the games until i see an improvement

Not just that, discovering everything together, speculating on the mysteries, finding where items were, pokemon movesets, discovering new Pokemon. It was all so fucking good. I'm sad we didn't get to do it again with any of the games after it.

We will experience these again come 2019 with the new games. No one has successfully hacked the Switch yet, and even by the time the Switch games are released and somehow someone successfully hacks it, it will still take them time to make a new injecting software for the new games, so no injecting for a while, while we enjoy battling/breeding/trading on-cart.
