A new event has begun. This event gives various hat Pikachu and can be obtained on American, European and Japanese 3DS games including Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon. This runs from today until December 1st. The codes are as follows
Hoenn Cap - LETSGOPIKACHU06
Sinnoh Cap - LETSGOPIKACHU09
Unova Cap - 13LETSGOPIKACHU
Kalos Cap - LETS17GOPIKACHU
Alola Cap - LETSGO19PIKACHU
These distributions match the ones received last year

And because I know someone is going to ask where is the Kanto/Johto cap: USUM got the neo-Kanto hat through QR so I'm guessing that's why they skipped it. Also the Kanto hat a second chance from other server (Korean iirc).

I did not. The second distribution was the one in Hong Kong, that because of open server problems, we were able to access as well. There never was a distribution of just classicKanto for the West.

The ones from the codes are shiny locked, but the one from the QR isn't. Or at least that was the case month ago. As far as I know it hasn't been patched, but I make no promises.

It's not. I had just tried it before posting that because I was going to go in order of their positioning in my folder for the digital copies on my main system. Sun failed with the notice that that game couldn't use it.

I know. In my first post I said "iirc" which means "if I remember correctly". I got the wrong Asian country, I meant the Hong Kong one and not Korean. I corrected it in the following posts. But the rest of the post is correct. We only got the official distribution and the one we stole from another country. You didn't correct the country, just told me there was one more distro.

Because they're supposed to be following Ash in his journey. Kanto Pikachu is lvl 1, then ach Pikachu is higher leveled than the one before.

Nah, it was an anime tie-in, but more a retcon of RGB's story (what little there was) to be more in line with the anime story (it was still Red doing these things in-game, just like Ash did them as his anime clone)
