Why did GameFreak do this? Not looking the type is one thing, but not using steel moves in anything outside of the main games is quite something.

It used Metal Claw in the DP anime, and Metal Sound in XY

Both moves have it using its spikes (turning into claws for Metal Claw, and rubbing them together for Metal Sound)

Lucario has metal wolverine claws that are barely ever shown outside of the anime. Honestly the magic bone that it uses should have been silvery metallic.
