DS games don't need a remake, they're new enough already. Now that all the GBA and GBC games have been remade, we're done remaking.

DPP don't need a remake, but B/W do. I think gen 5 is superior, but visually it was ruined by them trying to force the 3ds gimmick while still making the game available for DS.

Seriously, just replay platinum. I was craving a sinnoh remake really bad, but then realized the game would be easy out the ass, and it would have shitty ugly 3d graphics and it would have less content than Platinum.

The only benefits would be a remade soundtrack and the battle mechanics that have changed since then. Otherwise physical special split is in place, the spritework is good, the music still holds up, the movepools were competent (good physcial and special attacks of nearly every type)

Nigga I don't care what they'll do, I'm neither on gamefreaks board of directors, and neither do I own stock in the company, I'm just saying what should be done. Only thing Gen4 needs is a re-release for virtual console, where they made it not slow as shit.

I'll always love how you don't grasp that remakes are about money and nothing else. Gen 4 has been out of print for nearly 8 years now of course they'll want to remake it.

The question is who the fuck wants a remake given how lazy Gamefreak is now? GF peaked hard with the DS era games and they'll never properly do a remake justice.

I do. I want a remake. Honestly, I just want to see Sinnoh in HD -- not even going to try and lie to you. It's my favorite region and I just want to experience it with updated graphics and remastered music. Also, I'd like for the region to get revisited so that artists would make more art and r34 of some of the female characters that have nearly nothing. Hopefully, they come out after Gen 8.
