>>36931129That's not to mention the competitive battling modes with updated rulesets, the pointless Battle Now! mode that they had no reason to put into the game but they still fucking did, battling Mewtwo in a 6 versus 1 battle you're still not guaranteed to win, and on top of all that, if you weren't satisfied by all the ass fucking you received before, there's a SECOND CAMPAIGN that turns the sky dark and allows you to get gang raped even harder. And at the end of it all, you can get a fucking SURFING PIKACHU which allows you to play a minigame IN YELLOW. Holy fuck Stadium was crazy for its time.
I consider the Stadium games to be the ultimate companion piece to Gen 1 and Gen 2 respectively. Taken on their own, without the Game Boy games involved, it's not really much of anything, but with the games added on, you gain SO much. There was so much to be done, so much QoL for the player, so much extra bonus shit they really didn't have to put in there, but by god, they did. They truly wanted to give players all they could give. And that's just Stadium ONE.
