Gen V without a doubt.
Lots of ‘mons see use from boosted speed in weather. Large variety of dragons. Priority is important but not centralizing.

All in all gen6 was the most enjoyable for me.

Gen IV was only good for OU, because Garchomp/Salamence were banned to ubers and Tyranitar was weaker than in RSE.
But it was bad for Pokemon overall because the majority of Pokemon became unviable.

Unpopular opinion: I liked Weather Wars. It was fun, having these synergized teams. The Terrain stuff is a decent substitute, though.

Weather teams were fun but it was getting old. I am glad gen 6 got rid of the permanent weather. Weather teams are still viable if you do them right.
