It would be a disgrace to the reputation of real life Platypuses everywhere if the Pokémon version of it had a typing that made sense.

Everything about the real creature is conundrum. Like nature purposely designed it as a joke. The Typing should be something completely off the walls, like Dragon/Bug or Electric/Rock.

this is a wip
it's based on the idea of a fairy getting corrupted
the whole gimmick is that the player can find an item called a 'corrupting potion' and if left in the bag too long with the fairy pokemon in the party it will disappear, and the fairy will go on the "undesired" path
the dandelion motif just goes along nicely with fairies and is a nice way to show growth/wilting

What made that one even better is that they came back with another version of that snake and people actually tried to argue it was early art.

I mean, the image is of a Fakemon that was later accepted as a Temtem.
