I'm trying to get all the ribbons from Plat's Battle Tower, and so far my strat has been using Trick to force a Choice item on their lead, then setting up and sweeping.
I was using Suicune and Scizor as my sweepers, but an unfortunate streak end in which a Lapras sweeped my team with Choice Scarf Sheer Cold has convinced me to work in some sort of countermeasure to beat OHKO moves. A sturdy Pokemon would be perfect, but the only one with good boosting potential is Skarmory and if I use it then I'm fucked in the far more likely scenario where the opponent is trapped in a strong electric move.
Any team advice?
