>>36941135Because there is a very legitimate chance this could spill into the main games. People's faith in Gamefreak is so low that they're afraid LGPE will become the norm. It's the absolute opposite of the direction people have been begging for Pokemon to go in, and it's becoming more and more clear "voting with your wallet" isn't viable so the only real option is to bitch and moan to hopefully get the message across that people don't want this.

Pokemon isn't going anywhere ever. Gamefreak is in zero danger of going bankrupt if this game bombs. After XY, ORAS, USUM and now LGPE, people are extremely tired of Gamefreak taking the easy way out and cutting content for no reason. LGPE cuts absurd amounts of content right down to the fucking Pokemon themselves, I'm not sure how to explain that this is a bad thing.

It's for people who only liked Pokemon for the fad then forgot about it when Gen 2 rolled along and something new replaced it. These people have never cared about Pokemon and never will.

LGPE has not, and you can't even use "it's a spinoff!" as an excuse. It was developed by Gamefreak, it was directed by Masuda and it's a remake of Yellow, it's a mainline game and an absolute disaster of one.
