>>36942777Like johto, The landscape in sinnoh wasn't really fantastic, It introduces snow, but they fucked that over by making it hell to walk on those routes. there's those tiles that if you step on them you get stuck. And that mechanic was also in the great marsh, the worst safari zone ever. I like Mt. Coronet, mainly because of it's size, but the rest of the region was really boring. The regional dex is shit. Many interesting Pokemon like Skarmory, Donphan, Lapras, Venomoth, Ludicolo, Lanturn, and so on were left out of the 151 dex. Yet they bothered including Unown and they didn't even bother giving it an evolution. Truly a wasted slot in the Dex. Also the selection of water types is shit. They didn't include Ludicolo the only water/grass type, but yet they have 3 water flying types and 3 water/ground types. I personally don't like the fact that the water type is diverse with Dual types but they excluded the only water grass type and included 3 water?ground types. Gastrodon was new in this gen, did we really need Quagsire and Whiscash in this region? those slots could have gone to Ludicolo and its prevos. On the bright side, DP's gym leader and elite 4 teams are inetersting, I like the fact that Flint is a fire type trainer yet 3 of his 5 Pokemon that aren't fire types (Luponny Steeliz Drifblim) it adds diversity to teams. But in Platinum they made his team all Fire type. Volkner has the same issue. He has Ambipom and Octillery in DP adding diversity to his team , but not in Platinum. In Platinum he has all electric types. The only redeeming quality about Sinnoh that applies to all games is the msuic. Honestly Johto and Sinnoh have the best music in the series, but are held back by major gameplay flaws
