How is it gouging, on the one hand, you have prettied-up ports of 20yo games, on the other, a from-the-ground-up rebuilt retelling of a 20yo game, including current mechanics and up-to-date models?
The price is what it is, as that's the monkey's paw with moving to home consoles, the other two big manufacturers started selling at $60 (and let's also be honest, not everything they were selling at that was worth it), Nintendo are definitely going to match it. There's also the fact carts are more expensive than disc-based media (but they can hold a shitoad more if needed) so that's another expense thrown in. Then, let's not forget, Game Freak actually SELL you a 20yo game for $10, so basically there's about $30 p/u on making Spyro look pretty and run on PS4 and you don't think THAT'S gouging? kekasaurus

At least all of Let's Go is on the cart. Spyro got delayed months yet the devs couldn't get all three fucking games on the disc when Crash Bandicoot managed it just fine.

You fail to realize that Spyro games are way bigger then Crash, PS4 disks can only hold up to 50GB of space, and its been confirmed by many people that Spyro is 67GB.

true, but they could also simply sell the trilogy version purely digital (you have to download a huge part of the game anyways). If you dont want to play all 3 games (or want an actual physical version) you could just buy the games individually (which might be a bit more expensive if you buy all 3 but cheaper if you only want 1 or 2 games)

They delayed the game from September so they could pront out discs that had all three on them. 2 and 3's remasters weren't finished when the disc printings were originally set to begin.
