They seem to be pulling from EVERY Pokemon generation, which is good, since I was afraid it was just gonna be gen 1 stuff primarily

If we're talking about THIS MOVIE SPECIFICALLY, the best options would be to choose Pokemon that would look the most horrifying/interesting in this "realistic" look.

In this case, I just HAVE to choose things like Gardevoir and Lopunny. Like... I just HAVE to, you know? I wish to see what amazing horrors await.

I dont know how Gamefreak would feel about it's first appearance being incredibly out of the normal style. People might see it there, and then not like the cartoony version or some shit.
