The guy responsible for the Pokemon designs in the upcoming Pokemon live-action movie.
I thought the point of Pokemon was that monsters could also be cute but pack a wallop, not freaky looking monsters nobody would want to own like a pet.
They could have asked Japan's own Pokemon artists but they just want with some random artist they found on google.
At some point, attempting realism creates an entire different design that doesn't give off the real vibe of Pokemon.
Might as well have made a Digimon live action movie, instead.
But really, a Pokemon live action should not resemble a Jurassic Park spinoff.
