>>36971533"Pokemon decided to add them"? But we had poses all the time on the player cards. Or character specific stuff like BW's player mugshots Or in the anime, the usual Badge Get pose, and so on. Or even, if we want to bring up battle context, Mega Evolving. Hell, even Digimon had these poses when evolving. So YW copied Digimon's poses? Pathetic.
You still haven't told me how shooting energy or bulking up is a copy of a dance, by the way.
Stop thinking Yokai Watch invented everything when you know that not only it's not true but that Pokemon takes a lot of time getting stuff that's normal in other games(see cutscene skip and AUDIO SLIDERS) Nobody denies some things that actually happened, such as the Rotomdex being a less funny Whisper clone, and the SM anime becoming a joke-and-reference-comedy instead of its usual, but the rest is just dumb.
Oh you know what? YW copied Pokemon designs concepts, like thug lizard, or a direct Electabuzz ripoff, or a fire yellow fox associated with ghosts. And more: instead of doing its own spin on the design, it literally copies a daruma monkey with huge eyebrows. And don't go and tell me that they're based on actual yokais: that is obvious, but your post is using the "franchise did X first" so i'm just adhering to your reasoning.
Don't forget some Yokai like Peckpocket or Blazion being literal Kirby helpers/enemies ripoffs, or even copying from Dragonball monsters like Chummers being a ripoff of Agarizame.
Oh and one last thing: with catchable totems being the same exact thing as completely normal Pokemon, your first argument goes out of the window. Unless you claim that's copied from YW too since both USUM and YW2 let you catch boss-only monsters.
