Not using Super Effective Teams isn't limiting yourself because you're using the Pokemon you want to use, hell, The series makes a point you can still win without type advantages all the time, Again, the problem is that I don't want to go through extra steps for the same goddamn results. Not using a specific party member doesn't make a game more difficult, that's something the game is meant to allow you to. Again, let's bring up fucking Digimon of all things, the new games have a Normal and Hard mode, you can still limit yourself with certain Digimon but guess what? On Hard modes, the fights are actually HARDER. You can still have a challenge AND use the monsters you like, it's fucking bizarre, unheard of, even. A Difficulty Setting? Fucking nuts amirite.
