Not really. Those are all objective complaints about bugs and stupid balancing decisions, while the images for later gens tend to have a lot of griping about subjective shit.

The original was the one for ORAS wasn't it?
I don't think the attempt was to make a funny recreation. It was to deflect criticism from ORAS by pointing out flaws in other gens, as if two wrongs somehow make a right. And as if most of the other gens' flaws were comparable to the downright insulting shortcomings of ORAS. It's a bad joke to compare an original game made by Gamefreak in 1996 to a remake of a different one made in 2014.

I've been on /vp/ since day 1 in 2010, and I'm pretty sure the ORAS list was the first.
Nobody hated gen 1 enough to come up with that list in the OP on their own. It was created in response to the board breaking nature of ORAS and the list of flaws image it spawned.

Went digging in the archive and found it. The earliest record of this exact image being posted is February 27th, 2015.
Given the unreliable nature of archives and tendency for anons to repost different versions of things they saved, there could be earlier examples by a few months.

for what its worth I like how they briefly summarize flaws of a gen in an easy to digest way. The problem is most of these go into overly subjective stuff or glitches that happen in extremely specific situations. The gen 1 and oras ones are the only good ones.
