Hello, I'm playing Pokémon Yellow Version and I've heard one time it is good to wait until lv 50 before evolving Pikachu for the stats. (better stats if you evolve him after lv 50)

Is it true?

50 is when Pikachu learns Light Screen it last move. There's no point in waiting to evolve it unless you want more moves and there's no better stats for waiting. Even then you can't evolve Pikachu in yellow without trading it to another game using a stone on it there and trading it back.

How long it remains in the Gen 1? Until a switch from the user?
