Why didn't he ever get a game? Literally the only generation in the franchise without a 3rd game

B2/W2 is a direct sequel

US/UM on the otherhand is a 3rd version, but split in two

I wonder if Z, or a sequel to XY was ever in development, or if they went onto SM right away. It could have been disappointing too, of course, so maybe it's for the best they moved on.

Makes me wonder how Perfect Zygarde would had been taken care of if "Z" or proper sequels to XY ever was a thing.

I can't imagine collecting 100 zygarde cells to only temporarily get the Perfect forme lol if it ever got to be a mascot legendary, would be neat to let it actually be permanent and give it a new aura boosting ability as well
