Is it any good? I really wanna get this game but what am I in for exactly? Also what kind of spin off would you like to see in the future?

The gameplay is mediocre. The puzzles are so braindead it makes you wonder why they gave the Amiibo functionality to make it even easier. There's only one puzzle that stands out in the whole game as it requires just a bit of thought to it, and it's not even required to do correctly to move on. The story is fine, however.

There's just under a hundred different species that appear in the game, some with different forms too. Almost all of them appearing in scenarios you wouldn't see much of elsewhere in the franchise, or often not at all. It's pretty neat seeing stuff like Yanma working as a camera crew, or a Ludicolo working as a waitress.
There's a reference to Ash/Pikachu in there too.

That's pretty neat! One of the things I enjoyed about Sun and Moon was how intergrated the pokemon felt to the region so that sounds awesome
