more importantly if gamefreak wasn't working on this shit ultra sun and ultra moon might have actually been worth buying. i've bought every pokemon game up until usum but the lackluster amount of new pokemon and replayability in sun and moon combined with the obvious corner cutting for usum made me skip them.
enfranchised fans are getting short changed in order to spend more time appeasing hordes of smartphone gamers. it is happening a lot these days.
