I've been absent from Pokemon for 2 years and I never browsed VP outside of the first few months after the board was established. Can someone explain the BW hate? I'm not fond of it but when I think hard about it I really appreciated it at least from a gameplay perspective. The only thing I didn't like were the Pokemon designs but that's a combination of them making Emboar Fire/Fighting making me care less and that was right when I began withdrawing from Pokemon so I cared less about the individual mons rather than the experience as a whole. I've played through XY once and SM once and when I got UM two weeks ago I would literally think that some things were introduced in SM until I looked them up.

BW wasn't my fave, Gen 4 fag here, but Seasons were cool, moving sprites were dope, the world always had something new or fun to do, and it introduced some good moves that I remember loving like Wild Charge and Heat Crash.
