It's still gonna tank from the shit writing, it just didn't go unnoticed because my god those CGI designs are meme-tier ugly. They also made Tim an amerimutt nigger. In the game the twist was that Pikachu was Tim's dad's soul inside of his Pikachu the whole time but Ryan is too white to be the dad of a nigger, so they're probably not going to pull the same twist again.
But it's going to suck no matter what because live action adaptions of popular anime shit handled by western companies always ends in disasters.

Currently, the only way to watch the Pokemon Sun and Moon dub on American television is through one of Disney's paid subchannels. Disney also airs commercials for Pokemon cards and video games more than Nick or CN do. It may as well already be owned by Disney as it is now.

No, Disney would absolutely try to buy Nintendo if it were possible. Nintendo's greatest asset is its IP, which Disney is thirsty for since they apparently can't innovate anymore.
But Japan does not like foreign control of something uniquely Japanese. Look at the situation with Tokyo Disneyland, which isn't even owned by Disney. The Japanese government would step in to prevent Disney buying Nintendo, assuming Nintendo would even want to sell.
The only exception I can think of is LINE Corp, which began as a subsidiary of NHN before it became popular in Japan. There's no way Line, in its current level of popularity, would be allowed to be owned by a South Korean company otherwise.

Do you watch television anymore? The old system you probably grew up with doesn't exist anymore, where network TV shows cartoons and anime in syndication. Pokemon has no place on American TV to reach the same audience it used to 20 years ago.

Disney is currently the biggest broker of cartoons on US channels, as both Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon have fallen on hard times and have moved away from strict animation. Pokemon has nowhere else to go and remain relevant.

CN is 100% animation currently so I don't know where you're getting that from. Disney and Nick both split their content between live action sitcoms and animation.
