It baffles me how this guy achieved the peak of the series with gen 5 and then he went on to make it spiral into unrecoverable decline by dumbing everything down for people who don't play the games.

This strongly implies that the real reason we didn't have multiple save files wasn't because they wanted us to buy multiple games but instead because they couldn't fucking program a second save into the goddamn game.

What? There are more scenes, they are all longer and there are higher requirements to get into gyms. Shit trainer xp also means you will have to grind more and longer. Battles are also much slower cause of the animations.

Seeing pokemon run around in the overwolrd is a great thing and being able to change and switch your team on the run without always going to the pokecenter is something I've always wanted to have. It WOULD have been smart, and it's a feature I've honestly wanted in the main series for ages, but because it's Game Freak they even went as far as fucking that up. The Pokémon don't act naturally at all and they tank the game's frame rate if there are too many of them, it's a fucking mess.
Pokémon Ranger came out 12 years earlier and implemented the exact same thing far better. Think about that.

Actualy there are few pokemon that rush on you when they see you. But without battles there is no impact.
yeah. Ranger did it best with some pokemon slowly greeting you or running away from you so you had to chase them.

It's pretty eh. I think a better implementation would honestly be giving people the ability to turn on/off permanent repel.
If you travel to a place too strong for you, the pokemon over the level of the first pokemon in your party still attack; so it's not like you're totally removing the chance for random encounters from the game.

How is having multiple saves a bad thing? I'd have that over any game card save as long as I can havr pokebank back. That way I can have a nuzlocke run or whatever run without having to restart my competitive save or buying another game copy.

Make it so if you enter E4's, Gyms, Trial Zones etc that the Porta-PC is turned off for the duration of it until you win, lose, or leave the area.

Have it be a post game unlock so its not intruding on the main story. It does kinda bug me since it renders Pokemon Centers entirely useless.
